Marty Donovan is proud to be a part of the third generation of the Donovan family business in real estate. His grandfather, Martin J. Donovan, after who he is named, was a real estate trader in Springfield. Beginning in 1951, his father, John C. Donovan Sr. significantly invested in real estate throughout Northwest Florida and Baldwin County, AL.
When Marty Donovan graduated from Auburn in 1975, he took a slightly different route into the family business. Donovan spent more than five years in the real estate appraisal field throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. This background has helped develop his extensive understanding of real estate.
In 1980, Marty Donovan became a licensed realtor and broker for Donovan Realty. As a licensed broker in Florida and Alabama, he is a member of the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. With his history and extended career in real estate, he has a broad based understanding of all areas of the market. There are not many conceivable situations in real estate that he and his agents have not dealt with.
